Advanced algorithm predicts all NFL Wildcard games

Updated: January 7, 2017

Math freaks have had a sit down with some NFL degens and come up with a new algo that can predict NFL games. The new algo has been kept secret all year but now it is ready for the wild.

Texas vs. Oakland

At the end of the first half Texas held Oakland in the redzone to a FG attempt which they missed. Houston only had one first down the entire first half in the simulation.
algorithm bets UNDER 17.5 First Half

Oakland went on a rampage in the second half mostly fueled by turnovers from Texas. The Texas defense did well in the redzone forcing Oakland to kick three FG, but it was not enough. Osweiler throwing two INT was the main factor in Texas losing and the total goving over 37.

algorithm bets OVER 37 & game Oakland +3.5

Detroit vs. Seattle

A lot more scoring from SEA than expected. This will force DET to throw a lot in the 2nd half.

Lions end up covering the spread. They almost won but SEA was able to get a last min FG and it was GOOD.
algorithm bets OVER 44 and Detroit +8

Pittsburgh vs. Miami

Pittsburgh dominates the first half as Miami is unable to stop Roethlisberg and his 100% comp rate in the first half.
algorithm bets Pitt First Half

Miami was able to outscore Pittsburgh in the second half but it was not enough. The Pittsburgh run game really put the hammer on the clock.

algorithm bets Miami second half Pitt -10 game

New York vs Green Bay

New York has a great passing first half and Beckham has two big catches for a total of 77 yards.

algorithm bets Over 22 first half

Green Bay is not able to launch a big passing attack in the second half and end up losing even though they beat New York on the ground 118 yards to 45 yards and had 9 first downs to New York´s 10 first downs.

algorithm bets New York +3.5
